- Maximus, the honorable protagonist of the movie "Gladiator";
- Bai Qi, the genocidal general known for his victory at the Battle of Changping;
- Xiahou Dun, strong man of Prime Minister Cao Cao.
In a way, Yiming is the final outcome of a long series of military characters, after Sirius (only played online) and Amennekht. The latter actually has a very similar background to Yiming's, involving betrayal and disgrace, though the style of OikouménÚ was less heroic.
